Future Foundations provides financial support to students in Kenya to attend further education. Without this support many young people in Kenya would not be able to attend higher education as the costs must be paid directly by the families. Future Foundations allows young people from poorer backgrounds an equal opportunity to make the most of their potential.

WHAT WE DO
Please scroll down this page to find out more about the specific work that we do to empower young people in Kenya from poor backgrounds into further education. Future Foundations assist young people to gain better qualifications and job prospects and in the end a better quality of life for the students and their families.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Please read below the objectives of our charity Future Foundations and how we work to change the lives of young people living in Kenya.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Future Foundations raise money through fundraising events in order to pay secondary school fees and college fees for young people. One years secondary school fee for one young person is just £200 and a years college fee is £300. This support allows those from disadvantaged backgrounds access to higher education.
EMPOWERMENT
Future Foundations empowers young people in Kenya from poorer backgrounds to attend higher education. In doing this we empower the young students we work with to attain qualifications and the training required to achieve better employment prospects.
SUPPORTING FAMILIES
By providing financial support, our students then go on to attain higher education qualifications and better employment prospects. Once employed our students can then provide better financial support to their families.
FUNDRAISING
Future Foundations engages in a regular active fundraising including running quiz nights, raffles, taking part in running events, text to donate and other fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

Future Foundations was set up to due to the high prevalence of illiteracy among young people in Kenya who cannot go to secondary school or college because of poverty. In Kenya, only primary education is free meaning that many children never get to secondary school and are likely to drop out as they cannot see a future in their education. Future Foundations raise money through donations and fundraising events in order to pay secondary school fees and college fees for young people and give them the best possible chance of a successful future.
As well as accepting direct donations, Future Foundations also engage in active fundraising campaigns and we have run a number of successful events in the past including raffles, charity runs, quiz nights and sponsored walks.
